Description:
Keg is a
fun ride, full of roots, dips, bridges, and creek crossings.
Technical enough to keep you on your toes, but easy enough
for riders still fairly new to the sport. Some of the
creek crossings are very easy, some are very difficult.
There are several other little trails that branch off and
usually end up in someone's backyard, so be sure to follow
the yellow blazes to stay on the correct path.
To ride the loop in the
clockwise direction, turn right out of the parking lot onto
Washington Rd. Ride across the bridge, then
approximately another 100 yards. The trail will be on
the right, with a sign next to the entrance. The sign
will have a hiker and an arrow. The trail will end up
back in the parking lot.
Connector Routes:
Easily connects with Bartram and
Mistletoe State park. See our
Connector
Routes page for more details.

This creek is armored with
concrete - full speed ahead!

This creek is a bit more
difficult to ride.

This really wide gully is a fun
high-speed feature.

Same gully as above, different
angle.

It takes a little climbing to
reach this view, but it is well worth the effort.
