This awesome stretch of singletrack between the Augusta Canal and the Savannah River grows FAST and THICK this time of year—and that keeps Trail Champion John Pilcher busy keeping it dialed in!
Even this early in the season, the combo of this lush location plus some lost canopy from Hurricane Helene means the overgrowth is already in full force.
This trail doesn’t just need multiple mowings—it also takes a lot of lopping to keep it clear!
