The Augusta Canal Singletrack is a direction trail based on the day of the month. Even days are counter clockwise. You will climb the large hill at the entrance. Odd days are counter clockwise. You will ride down the large hill at the entrance. This trail is popular and has limited sight lines, so is important to ensure you are traveling in the appropriate direction.

This trail is a 3 mile loop style intermediate trail. The trail is located on a small strip of land between the canal tow path and the Savannah River. To find the main trail entrance, follow the fence between the railroad tracks and the pumping station, stay on the railroad side of the fence, there is a well worn path here. Stay straight continuing past the large sign. If you are comfortable riding stairs you can continue straight but the smoothest path down to the start of the loop is the trail to the right just before the stairs.

The trail itself is short but tight turns, jump lines and smooth sections make it a very enjoyable ride. The few climbs are short but steep and some may have roots.
