Hickory Knob State Park is a 10.2 mile multi-loop style intermediate trail system. The main parking lot is easily identifiable by the large barn.

Lake Loop is 7 miles of beautifully hand built singletrack. The trail is fast with numerous logs to cross and two rock outcroppings that are each fun and challenging. Once on the ride, the lake makes an appearance after about a mile or so. You will follow the lake for the next five miles. Then it’s one mile back to the barn. There are less than 300 feet of climbing on the entire loop but this trail will keep you on yours toes with dips, logs, rocks and tight tree sections.

Turkey Ridge is a 1.7 mile loop across the road from the barn. It offers a climb followed by a downhill. Turkey Ridge has more of a sustained climb than anywhere on the Lake Loop. It should make a great time trial loop or just enough riding if another loop on the Lake is too much. Ride in either direction.

Beaver Run is a 2.5 mile in and out trail. It is a fairly flat – yet fast open and flowing trail that is wide enough to pass at just about any point. It has no difficult features and is a family friendly novice trail. Keep in mind you can really fly on Beaver Run. It has enough curves and space to stay fun to ride for all abilities.
