What a day! Under perfect spring conditions (mid-60s, low humidity, and plenty of motivation), this powerhouse crew of SIX volunteers absolutely crushed it—completing the final 16 remaining projectson the Big Rock Trail!
That brings us to an incredible 78 total projects completed on this trail. Just a quick inspection of the east side remains to confirm everything is dialed in. After that, we’ll do any final touch-ups and officially recommend the trail for reopening.

What’s next?
Once Big Rock is cleared for reopening, we shift focus to the Tower Trail—where 3.5 miles and 100+ projects are still waiting for us. There’s more work ahead, and we’ll need all hands on deck—so keep an eye out for upcoming work party announcements!
