The area around FATS has received app 5 inches of rain in the past 24 hours as a result of Isaias.
After a relatively dry period, the trails should absorb much of this rain over the next 48–72 hours. Fortunately, the rain was mostly a steady soaking rain, which is beneficial for the trails. More water soaking in means less runoff and erosion, but it also means muddy trails that need time to dry out.
Please allow the trails to dry before using them. Using wet trails can cause damage that takes considerable time and effort to repair.
Thank you for helping protect the trails!
